About the Role:

We’re seeking a Marketing Intern to help build marketing campaigns, social media engagement and conduct market assessments.

The Maverick Power Internship Program offers a unique opportunity for students to explore various career paths while contributing to the fast-growing industry of switchgear manufacturing!

Interns will gain exposure to day-to-day operations, participate in department-specific projects, and have access to learning opportunities and networking events designed to support personal and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities: (execute a few projects chosen from the list below based on the intern's background & interests):

  • Conduct market assessment, segmentation, and revenue estimation for one or two assigned product areas, such as medium-voltage ATS and 800 VDC solutions.
  • Drive social media engagement across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn to strengthen Maverick’s brand presence and achieve defined targets for posting frequency, views, and audience interaction.
  • Evaluate and implement Google and Bing paid advertising strategies to increase visibility and engagement within targeted geographic and industry segments.
  • Leverage current AI tools to create, optimize, and automate marketing campaigns within HubSpot CRM.
  • Develop and implement a structured product launch methodology, including brochure design and layout, market segmentation by industry and application, engineer and buyer persona development, targeted messaging, and coordinated tactical marketing efforts across digital, social, email, events, and webinars.
  • Establish and manage a repeatable process for trade show and conference participation, including planning, coordination, and logistical execution.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled as a 2nd, 3rd, or 4th-year undergraduate student in an accredited university program in Business, Marketing, or Engineering.
  • Strong communication, curiosity, and willingness to ask questions early.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to twenty-five pounds at times.

Work Environment:
May work in various settings at the Maverick Power facilities, in offices, in multiple shops, and in commercial buildings. Maintaining the same position or posture while performing tasks and sitting for prolonged periods.
